This isn't simply about what we owe today. It's about intentionally preparing The Groves for what comes next.

Where we are

Our building loan matures in a little over a year. As that approaches, we're taking intentional steps now to reduce our approximately $1 million in existing debt before our current interest rate changes.

Why now

Every dollar given toward principal reduces the church's future financial obligation and helps position The Groves to direct more resources toward ministry rather than interest and debt payments.

This isn't simply about what we owe today. It's about preparing our church for what comes next.

Paying down our existing debt reduces the amount of principal we carry forward and helps minimize future interest expenses.

The less we owe, the fewer future resources are committed to debt.

Every dollar that doesn't have to go toward debt service is a dollar that can remain available for ministry.

Our desire is to increasingly direct resources toward reaching people, strengthening families, investing in the next generation, missions, and serving our community.

Giving Sunday.

On Sunday, September 27, we'll have a special giving moment together at the end of service.

We're asking our church family to prayerfully consider giving above and beyond regular tithes and offerings toward For the House. For the Future.

There isn't a required amount or expectation we're asking everyone to meet. Pray and ask God what He would have you give.

Then, on September 27, we'll have the opportunity to give together as we intentionally position our church for the future.
