Disciples,
Not Audience.
Youth at The Groves is a community designed specifically for middle and high school students to know Jesus, grow in their faith, build genuine friendships, discover their God-given purpose, and live it out with impact.

We don't believe students simply need another event to attend or somewhere to hang out on Wednesday nights. We want to create a safe, fun, and welcoming place where students can encounter biblical truth, worship together, ask real questions, build relationships with leaders and other students, and develop a faith that extends beyond youth group.
And yes, we have a lot of fun along the way.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights are the heartbeat of Youth at The Groves.
Throughout the month, students experience different types of ministry nights, each designed with a specific purpose. Some nights bring everyone together for worship and teaching. Others create space for deeper conversations and small-group community. And sometimes we throw a big party and give students an easy opportunity to bring their friends.
What Happens
on Wednesdays?
Worship, community, honest conversation, and nights built to help students invite their friends.

Youth Worship Services
Our worship services bring students together for a night centered around Jesus.
Students worship together, hear a biblical message designed specifically for middle and high school students, pray together, build relationships, and have time to hang out before and after service.
We want students to do more than simply hear about faith. We want them to learn how to worship, engage with Scripture, pray, respond to God's Word, and follow Jesus in everyday life.

Crew Nights
We believe discipleship happens in community.
Crew Nights are our small-group-focused Wednesdays where students have more time to build relationships, talk honestly, open Scripture together, ask questions, pray, and apply what they're learning to their lives.
Our current Crew Night teaching series, Built Different, focuses on helping students develop strong foundations for following Jesus. After teaching and worship together, students break into Crews where trusted leaders help guide meaningful conversation and discipleship.
Crews give students a smaller community where they can be known, ask questions, and grow alongside other students.

Invite Nights
Some Wednesday nights are built to make inviting a friend incredibly easy.
Invite Nights are larger themed nights packed with games, free food, competition, worship, a message, and plenty of time to hang out. Themes and activities change throughout the year, but the purpose stays the same: create an environment students are excited to invite their friends into while giving every student an opportunity to hear about Jesus and experience genuine Christian community.
There's More Than Wednesday Night
Wednesday nights are our primary weekly gathering, but they're not the only opportunity students have to connect and grow.
Student Leadership Program
High school students who are ready to take another step can participate in our Student Leadership Program.
Student leaders have opportunities to serve within Youth at The Groves while receiving additional small-group discipleship and leadership development. The goal isn't simply to give students jobs to do. We want to help them develop as disciples and leaders who understand that they can participate in the mission of Jesus right now.
Youth Camp
Youth Camp gives students an opportunity to step away from their normal routine for several days of worship, biblical teaching, community, friendships, and a lot of fun.
It's an intentional opportunity for students to grow closer to God and one another while creating memories together.
Youth Convention
Youth Convention brings students together with other teenagers for a larger conference experience centered around worship, biblical teaching, community, and fun.
Trips like Convention give students opportunities to experience something outside their normal Wednesday-night environment while strengthening relationships within Youth at The Groves.
Disciples,
Not Audience.
Our DNA isn't just something written on a wall. These five values describe the kind of community we're building and the kind of disciples we're challenging students to become.

We Bring Our Bible
God's Word changes lives. We want students to bring their Bible, engage with Scripture, learn how to understand it, and build a faith grounded in God's Word.
We Pray Boldly
Prayer isn't something we add onto ministry. It's part of following Jesus. We create opportunities for students to pray together, pray for one another, and develop their own prayer life.
We Celebrate Others
We want Youth at The Groves to be a place where students encourage one another. We celebrate growth, faithfulness, serving, inviting friends, baptism, and the steps students take toward Jesus.
We Have Fun
Youth should be fun. Games, food, trips, ridiculous competitions, and time together help create relationships and memories. But entertainment isn't our goal. Fun helps create an environment where relationships and discipleship can flourish.
We Own the Mission
Students aren't just people we're ministering to. They're part of the mission. We challenge students to serve, give, invite friends, welcome new students, pray for others, use their gifts, and take responsibility for the community they're helping build.
A Place to Belong
Walking into a youth group for the first time can be intimidating. We don't expect students to already know everyone, know what to do, or have everything figured out.
Our leaders intentionally help new students get connected, meet other students, understand what's happening, and begin finding their place in the Youth at The Groves community.
We also want our ministry to be accessible to students who may benefit from additional support. Through our Buddy System, trained leaders can come alongside students with special needs to help them participate, build relationships, and engage throughout the night.
Every student should have an opportunity to be known, welcomed, safe, and pointed toward Jesus.
